Yay! for Abby

Abby's oldest brother Chris threatened to tie a string from Abby's tooth to the back of his motorcycle if she didn't pull her 2nd tooth by Friday. No such luck! Abby bravely pulled it during math this morning!

Tony the Tiger and Moe

For those of you who haven't heard that I'm turning into the cat lady, well.....
I felt sorry for our cat we got a year ago named Moe. I thought he needed a friend. So before Ashley left for college 2nd semester we adopted Tony the Tiger. It was not pretty. The kids got a picture of them, they thought, being friends. I say, Moe is giving Tony a right jab to the jaw with his back foot but I'll let you all decide! They are getting along better but I think I'm out of the cat business for now!

Zach's basketball season

Zach had a great basketball season this year. He is a real go-getter, although with Mom, Dad and big brother hollering at him, I'm surprised he can play! Hey! At 49, I'm happy I can still holler that loud from the bench! Smart passes, come on defense!

Carpal Tunnel Fun after 1 week!

Ouch! Not feeling much better! I think I may have an idea what catching a 90 mph baseball feels like with no glove! But I am typing! AND, I appliqued one leaf on my quilt. Ok, so only 492 more leaves to go...but it's a start!

Actually, with pain pills and ice bags it really isn't so bad! But can I quilt again? That's the question!

Mike Huckabee for President 2008 Rally

Wow! The turnout for the rally was amazing. Especially in a place that I never heard of, Weyers Cave, VA. It's beautiful but difficult to get to! We Huckabites filled up an entire airplane hangar. It was great! Zach, Abby and I were interviewed on one of the local TV stations. Go figure! I was the only one to wear my Hog Hat and coat!! Perhaps we stood out???

Another fun day in DC

We took the Metro again today, it was gorgeous out, and ventured to Madame Tussards Wax Museum. It was great! Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the museum. Ok, sorry for the Clinton pictures right now! I didn't even take the Hillary picture. New camera, not taking risks!

National Air and space Museum, DC

We had alot of fun with Ashley home over Christmas break. We even ventured up to the Smithsonian on the METRO! We had alot of fun and it was a gorgeous day!

Abigail's Baptism

Abigail was baptized at our church, Temple Baptist Church, on January 6th, 2008. It was the best birthday present I could have received. 3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to know my children walk in truth.

Abby's first missing tooth

Abby lost her first tooth today! I'm sad because it's my children's last first missing tooth!
